Lateness

• Students are expected to arrive on time for the start of the day, the afternoon session and for all classes.  At any time, measures may be taken to ensure this expectation is met.
• Students arriving late to school must report to main office to confirm their arrival.
• Students arriving late to school without a valid excuse will face a consequence. Sleeping in and missing the bus may not be accepted as valid excuses and a consequence may be issued.
• Late arrivals to class will be dealt with by individual classroom teachers.
• Students considered chronically late will be subject to special measures that may include detentions, suspensions or refusal of late entry.
