 Swimming is one of the most popular GMAA Winter Sports in terms of the number of participants. Each year around 40 schools take part in the 9 scheduled Swim Meets. This makes up around 900 GMAA swimmers. The Meets begin in January with the Championship Meet being held in mid-February, and are held at three of the local pools, Dollard des Ormeaux Pool, Pointe Claire Pool and Cote-des-Neiges Pool.
