Each month, Riverdale High School recognizes the outstanding accomplishements of one male and one female student at each grade level. Candidates are selected by open nomination from staff members and all are encouraged to participate in the nomination process. Students may be nominated for a variety of reasons including academic or athletic achievement, community service or volunteer outreach, peer tutoring, mentoring, achievement in the face of adversity or citizenship. Students are honoured with certificates, keepsakes and a place of honour in the main foyer of the school for the month following their nomination.
