The Lester B. Pearson School Board's Food & Nutrition Policy's main objective is to sensitize and teach 
students that choosing well-balanced foods every day will improve their learning and living capabilities.
It raises student awareness of eating well by:
• Providing educational projects and programs based on a variety of themes about nutrition to increase the knowledge of students, educators, and parents.
• Encouraging students to choose well-balanced freshly prepared meals from our cafeterias.
The Food Policy establishes the quantity, quality and pricing of all foods served to all the elementary and high school students throughout the Lester B. Pearson School Board schools.
